KISSIMMEE, Fla. — A 4-year-old boy is in critical condition after being found unresponsive in a swimming pool Thursday evening in Kissimmee, according to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies received a 911 call just after 7 p.m. reporting a child found unresponsive in a pool at 2029 Tropical Palms Circle.

CPR was started, and the child was transported to a local hospital before being airlifted to Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.

The sheriff’s office said the 4-year-old boy remains in critical condition.

According to OCSO, the boy and his family are visiting Central Florida from out of state.

The circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation, and no additional information has been released at this time.
