Couple Accused of Tying Up, Beating Victims With Metal Bar at Kissimmee Motel

KISSIMMEE, Fla. — Two people are behind bars in Osceola County after deputies say a money dispute inside a Kissimmee motel turned violent, leaving a man and woman tied up, beaten and robbed.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called to the Siesta Motor Inn, 4657 W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway, on Thursday, September 17, after learning a couple had allegedly been kidnapped and attacked inside their motel room the night before.

Investigators say the incident happened on the night of September 16.

According to deputies, the victims — a man and woman — were tied up inside their room by another couple during a dispute involving money.

Deputies say the suspects then beat the victims with a metal bar before taking their phones, cash and jewelry.

Detectives investigating the case later located both suspects at the Siesta Motor Inn and took them into custody.

The suspects were identified as 38-year-old Glorimar Ramos-Pagon and 37-year-old Salvi Sola-Torres.

Both were booked into the Osceola County Jail on charges of battery and false imprisonment/kidnapping, according to the sheriff’s office. Sola-Torres was also charged with violation of probation for possession of fentanyl.

The information released by the sheriff’s office did not include additional details about what led up to the money dispute or the victims’ conditions.

The case remains part of an Osceola County Sheriff’s Office investigation.

As with all criminal cases, the charges are allegations, and the defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
