School Bus Involved in Early Morning Crash on Pleasant Hill Rd, Driver Taken as Trauma Alert

OSCEOLA COUNTY, FL — It was a tough start to the morning after a serious crash involving a white sedan and a school bus caused major delays and a heavy emergency response in the area.
According to officials, the crash happened just before 6:00 a.m. on Pleasant Hill Road near Reaves Road, when a white sedan rear-ended a school bus.
📸 Images from the scene show the white sedan with heavy front-end damage, crumpled into the rear of the bus. The hood appears crushed upward toward the windshield, indicating a strong impact. A traffic cone was placed near the vehicle as crews secured the scene, and the bus remained stopped in the roadway during the investigation.

The driver of the sedan was taken to Osceola Regional Medical Center as a trauma alert.
That means first responders believed the injuries could be life-threatening, so the hospital was alerted ahead of time to have a full trauma team ready the moment the patient arrived.
At this time, the extent of the driver’s injuries hasn’t been officially confirmed.
🚧 The crash shut down several lanes on Pleasant Hill Road, slowing down the morning commute as crews worked to clear the scene.
Osceola County Fire Rescue and the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office responded and are continuing to investigate. It’s still unclear if anyone on the school bus was hurt.
