Osceola County Deputies to Serve as Waiters During 'Tip-A-Cop' Fundraiser for Special Olympics Florida

ST. CLOUD, Fla. — The Osceola County Sheriff's Office is inviting the community to enjoy a meal while supporting a meaningful cause during its upcoming Tip-A-Cop fundraiser benefiting Special Olympics Florida.
The event will take place on Wednesday, August 5, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at The Catfish Place, located at 2324 13th Street in St. Cloud.
During the event, Osceola County deputies will step away from their traditional law enforcement duties and serve as waitstaff, with all tips collected helping support Special Olympics Florida and its athletes.
According to the Sheriff's Office, every dollar raised helps provide opportunities for athletes with intellectual disabilities to compete in sports, build confidence, develop friendships, and achieve their personal goals.
Community members are encouraged to stop by for lunch, meet their local deputies, and contribute to a cause that positively impacts thousands of athletes across Florida.
The Tip-A-Cop fundraiser is part of the Law Enforcement Torch Run, a nationwide movement in which law enforcement agencies partner with Special Olympics to raise awareness and funding for programs that empower athletes with intellectual disabilities.
