WINTER HAVEN, Fla. — It’s time to lace up your running shoes and hit the pavement for a good cause.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is gearing up to host the 12th Annual Judd Jog 5K on Saturday, April 25, 2026, bringing the community together for a morning of fitness, fun, and fundraising.

The event will take place at the PCSO Sheriff’s Operations Center, located at 1891 Jim Keene Boulevard in Winter Haven, with check-in and on-site registration beginning at 7:00 a.m. The race itself kicks off at 8:00 a.m., and organizers say participants are welcome to run or walk the course.

Open to all ages, the Judd Jog is designed to be family-friendly, encouraging everyone from seasoned runners to casual walkers to take part. All participants will receive a finisher medal, and winners across multiple categories will be recognized with awards.

Registration is currently open at www.JuddJog.org, with a fee of $40, increasing to $45 for last-minute sign-ups on April 24 and 25. Organizers also note that all registrants will automatically be entered for a chance to win raffle prizes, adding an extra layer of excitement to the event.

Most importantly, every step taken supports a meaningful cause. All proceeds from the event will benefit the United Way of Central Florida, helping fund programs that support local families and communities.

In addition to runners and walkers, sponsorship opportunities are still available for businesses and organizations looking to get involved.
