PCSO Seeks Public’s Help Identifying Suspect in Lakeland Liquor Theft

LAKELAND, Fla. — Detectives with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect connected to a retail theft at a Lakeland convenience store.

According to investigators, the incident occurred on January 7, 2026, at Hilltop Food Mart, located at 615 Daugherty Road. Deputies say the suspect stole liquor from the store before leaving the area.

Surveillance images released by the Sheriff’s Office show the suspect inside the store at the time of the theft. Detectives believe the individual fled the scene in a Chevy vehicle. No further vehicle details have been released.

The case is being investigated as Retail Theft under Polk County Sheriff’s Office Case #26-850.

Authorities are urging anyone who recognizes the suspect or has information related to the incident to come forward.
