Motorcyclist Killed in Collision on US-192 in Osceola County, FHP Says

Osceola County, Fla. — A 42-year-old Kissimmee man was killed Saturday afternoon in a crash involving an SUV and a motorcycle along West Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway, according to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP).

The crash happened on November 8, 2025, at 4:48 p.m. near the intersection of W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway (US-192) and Arabian Nights Blvd.

Troopers say a 2017 Lexus RX, driven by a 61-year-old man from Doral, was traveling westbound in the outside lane. A 49-year-old female passenger was also inside the vehicle. Both occupants were wearing seat belts and were not injured.

2022 Honda CBR1000 motorcycle, ridden by a 42-year-old Kissimmee man, was traveling westbound in the inside lane. The motorcyclist was wearing a helmet.

According to initial reports, the SUV driver attempted to change lanes from the outside lane into the inside lane, where the motorcycle was approaching. The motorcycle struck the rear of the SUV, causing the rider to be ejected from the motorcycle. He was pronounced deceased on scene. Next of kin has been notified.

Both occupants of the Lexus remained on scene and cooperated with investigators.


UPDATE:

Investigators have now confirmed that the motorcycle (Vehicle 2), a 2022 Honda CBR1000ran a red light and was traveling at a high rate of speed prior to the collision.

The crash remains under investigation.
