Gilbert Firefighters Battle Garage Fire Near Ray and Higley Roads; No Injuries Reported

GILBERT, Ariz. — Gilbert firefighters responded to a residential fire near 3650 E. Constitution Drive, in the area of Ray and Higley roads, on Sunday, August 9, 2026.

A working fire response was initiated after a Battalion Chief heard the initial call reporting a fire at the residence, prompting additional resources to respond.

When firefighters arrived, crews encountered a fire involving the garage, along with haze inside the home.

Firefighters worked to bring the incident under control while checking both the garage and the remainder of the residence for possible fire extension and any remaining hazards.

No injuries have been reported.

The circumstances surrounding the fire remain unclear. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined and remains under investigation.
