Hit-and-Run Crash Leaves 21-Year-Old Woman Critically Injured in Kissimmee

OSCEOLA COUNTY, FL — A 21-year-old Kissimmee woman is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle that fled the scene late Sunday night, according to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP).

The crash occurred on Sunday, November 16th at approximately 11:08 p.m. on US-192 (W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway) near Four Winds Boulevard in Kissimmee.

Troopers say an unknown vehicle (V1) was traveling westbound in the center lane when the pedestrian, identified as P1, attempted to walk north across the westbound lanes. She was not in a marked crosswalk when she entered the path of the oncoming vehicle.
The driver struck the woman and continued westbound on US-192 without stopping.

The victim, a 21-year-old female from Kissimmee, was rushed to HCA Florida Osceola Hospital, where she remains in critical condition.

FHP reports that there is no description available for the vehicle or its driver, and the investigation remains ongoing under Case # FHP25ON0541697.

Public Asked to Help

Anyone with information about the crash or the fleeing driver is urged to contact FHP by dialing **FHP (347) or Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS (8477).

FHP Reminder: Hit-and-Run Consequences

The Florida Highway Patrol emphasizes that leaving the scene of a crash involving injuries, death, or property damage is against the law and creates significant challenges for investigators. Drivers involved in a crash are urged to:

  • Remain calm and ensure everyone is safe
  • Move vehicles out of traffic if possible
  • Call 911 for injuries or blocked roadways
  • Exchange information and document the scene if no injuries are present
  • File a report online when appropriate
