KISSIMMEE, FL – June 24, 2025 — The Kissimmee Police Department is inviting the community to come together for a morning of conversation and connection over coffee at its upcoming "Coffee With a Cop" event.
Set to take place on Tuesday, July 9, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Susana’s Café (18 South Orlando Avenue), the event aims to break down barriers between law enforcement officers and the public. Residents are encouraged to stop by, enjoy a complimentary cup of black coffee with creamer, and engage in friendly, informal discussions with members of the Kissimmee Police Department.
“Events like these help us build trust and transparency,” said a KPD spokesperson. “It’s all about creating open lines of communication with the people we serve—no speeches, no agendas—just coffee and conversation.”
The “Coffee With a Cop” initiative is part of a nationwide movement designed to foster meaningful connections between police officers and their communities in a relaxed, approachable setting.
Organizers say all are welcome—whether you have a question, a concern, or just want to meet the officers who help keep Kissimmee safe.
☕ Cops. Coffee. Conversations. Come for the caffeine, stay for the community.
