Mesa Police Searching for Missing Endangered Man Last Seen Near Main Street and Val Vista Drive

MESA, Ariz. — Mesa Police are asking for the public's help finding a 43-year-old missing endangered man who disappeared Thursday afternoon.

Mesa Police reached out to iSkyNews.com Thursday evening with information about the search for Silvio Batres, who was last seen around 1 p.m. on Aug. 20, 2026, in the area of Main Street and Val Vista Drive in Mesa.

According to police, Batres left his residence on foot and has not been seen since.

Police say Batres has diagnosed medical conditions, and his family is concerned for his welfare.

Batres is described as a 43-year-old Hispanic man, approximately 6 feet tall and 190 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a faded green shirt and navy blue shorts.

Anyone who sees Batres or has information about where he may be is asked to contact the Mesa Police Department at 480-644-2211. The department's missing-person bulletin lists Case #2026193894.

Police have not released additional information about where Batres may have been headed after leaving his home.
