MESA, AZ – A vehicle and a motorcycle were involved in a collision at the intersection of Val Vista Drive and Main Street earlier today, Saturday, May 31, 2025, prompting a response from local emergency services.
The incident occurred at approximately 12:00 PM. Mesa Fire and Medical Department personnel were dispatched to the scene to evaluate both the driver of the vehicle and the motorcyclist. Fortunately, officials confirmed that neither individual required transport to the hospital, suggesting any injuries were minor or non-existent.
Mesa Police Department officers also responded, securing the area and conducting an investigation into the cause of the accident. During this time, the southbound right lane of Val Vista Drive was temporarily closed to traffic.
As of early this afternoon, authorities confirmed that the scene has been cleared, all lanes have been reopened, and all emergency units have returned to service.
