4 Seriously Injured After Mercedes, BMW Crash Into Brick Wall on County Line Road

Pasco County, FL - A violent two-vehicle crash on County Line Road Tuesday night left four people seriously injured after both vehicles left the roadway and slammed into a brick wall.

The crash happened around 9:09 p.m. on September 22 at the intersection of County Line Road and Firewheel Drive.

Investigators said a Mercedes sedan was traveling westbound on County Line Road while a BMW sedan was traveling eastbound.

As the Mercedes attempted to turn left at Firewheel Drive, it entered the path of the oncoming BMW and the two vehicles collided.

The impact sent both cars rotating toward the southeast side of the intersection. The vehicles struck a road sign before eventually crashing into a brick wall.

Photos from the scene show both vehicles with extensive damage. Debris was scattered throughout the crash area, and part of the brick wall was knocked down. Fire rescue crews and law enforcement responded to the scene.

There were two people inside each vehicle, and all four occupants suffered serious injuries. They were transported to area hospitals for treatment.

The driver of the Mercedes was identified as a 20-year-old Wesley Chapel man. His passenger was a 21-year-old Zephyrhills woman.

The BMW was driven by a 16-year-old Zephyrhills girl, with a 15-year-old Wesley Chapel boy riding as a passenger.

No additional information about their conditions was immediately available.

The crash remains under investigation.
