Navigating the Village: Essential Guide and Map for Poinciana Residents

POINCIANA, FL — Whether you are a longtime local or a newcomer to the area, navigating one of the largest planned communities in the United States just got a little easier.

Spanning over 47,000 acres across both Osceola and Polk Counties, Poinciana is home to more than 50,000 residentsand over 150 miles of paved roads. To help neighbors stay connected and informed, we are highlighting the official village layout and the essential resources every household needs.

Understanding the Village Layout

The community is famously divided into 10 distinct "Villages," each governed by the Association of Poinciana Villages (APV). Knowing your village number is crucial for everything from trash collection schedules to knowing which law enforcement agency to call.

  • Village 1: The community’s heart, housing the APV administrative offices and community center.
  • Village 2 & 5: Located within Osceola County. Village 5 is particularly noted for its proximity to the Disney Wilderness Preserve.
  • Villages 3, 4, 6, 7, & 8: These sections are located within Polk County, south and west of the Osceola line.
  • Village 9: Also located in Osceola County.
