Breaking: Massive Brush Fire in Osceola County Grows Beyond 300 Acres, Structures Destroyed

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — A massive and rapidly spreading brush fire has now burned more than 300 acres in rural Osceola County, destroying several structures as crews battle the active blaze.  Multiple structures are still involved according to fire.

The fire, known as the Rocky Suburban Estates Fire, is burning in a rural area southwest of Holopaw, where dry brush and windy conditions have fueled fast fire growth.

Officials confirm the wildfire has expanded beyond 300 acres and remains 0% contained, with flames continuing to move through vegetation and threatening nearby properties.

Authorities report that multiple structures have already been destroyed, though the exact number of homes or buildings lost has not yet been officially confirmed. Firefighters are actively working to protect surrounding residences and stop further spread.

Crews from multiple agencies are on scene, cutting containment lines and conducting aggressive suppression efforts as conditions remain volatile.

At this time, the fire is still active and growing, and residents in nearby rural areas are urged to stay alert and be prepared for possible evacuation notices if conditions worsen.

No injuries have been confirmed so far, but officials stress the situation is rapidly evolving as firefighting operations continue.
