Tempe Police Arrest Two Additional Suspects in July 25th Teen Homicide

TEMPE, AZ — Two more suspects have been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a 17-year-old male that occurred in Tempe late last month, according to the Tempe Police Department.

The shooting happened in the early morning hours of Friday, July 25th, at 909 E. Playa Del Norte, near the Loop 202 freeway.

Investigators initially took Edwin Denis into custody on Thursday, July 31st. Following further investigation, detectives arrested 18-year-old Jabriean Perry and 18-year-old Marlon Owens on Monday.

Charges Filed:

• Jabriean Perry (Booking #G198929): First Degree Murder, Endangerment, Disorderly Conduct
• Marlon Owens (Booking #G198928): First Degree Murder, Endangerment, Disorderly Conduct

Authorities say the case remains an active and ongoing investigation.
