Suspect Arrested in Kissimmee Machete Attack Near Circle K, Deputies Say

KISSIMMEE, FL (June 10, 2025) — A suspect is behind bars following a violent machete attack in Kissimmee, according to the Osceola County Sheriff's Office.

On June 9th at approximately 5:13 p.m., an Osceola County Sheriff's deputy was conducting a routine patrol near the Circle K gas station located at 4692 West Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway when a woman flagged him down at an intersection. The woman urgently informed the deputy that her brother had just been attacked with a machete and that the suspect was currently transporting the injured man to a hospital.

Deputies responded immediately to the hospital, where they learned the attack stemmed from a verbal argument between the victim and the suspect, later identified as Angel Ramos-Arce.

Investigators located Ramos-Arce’s truck and discovered blood evidence inside the vehicle's cab. Even more alarming, deputies recovered the machete used in the assault from the bed of the truck.

Ramos-Arce was arrested and charged with Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon. He was booked into the Osceola County Jail shortly after.
