Firefighters Battle Intense 2nd Alarm Blaze at Reunion Resort
REUNION, Fla. — Multiple units from Osceola County Fire Rescue responded to a 2nd Alarm fire Friday afternoon at a large residence in the Reunion Resort community.
The fire occurred at 1424 Titian Court in Reunion, where firefighters arrived to find heavy smoke coming from the structure. Due to the conditions upon arrival, the incident was quickly upgraded to a working fire, prompting the dispatch of additional personnel and specialized apparatus.

According to Osceola County Fire Rescue, the fire was sparked by a construction worker who was installing a speaker inside the home when the incident began.
Firefighters battled flames that could be seen coming from the more than 4,000-square-foot residence. As the fire intensified, crews requested additional resources, including an Air/Light Truck, Rehab Truck, Heavy Rescue, and multiple fire engines from surrounding stations.
During firefighting operations, conditions inside the structure deteriorated significantly. At one point, an emergency evacuation was initiated, forcing firefighters to exit the home due to intense fire conditions. Crews then transitioned to a defensive firefighting strategy, attacking the fire from the exterior before continuing suppression efforts.
Units from both Osceola County Fire Rescue and the Osceola County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene.
The extent of the damage has not yet been released, and it remains unclear whether any injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation, though fire officials have indicated the blaze originated during work involving the installation of a speaker system.
