UPDATE: Mesa Police SWAT Serves Search Warrant in Skyline Park Stabbing Investigation

MESA, Ariz. — Mesa Police SWAT officers executed a search warrant around midnight Wednesday at a residence located near 56th St. and Broadway Rd. In Mesa as detectives continued searching for additional suspects connected to the stabbing investigation at Skyline Park.
Detective Katz with the Mesa Police Department confirmed the development exclusively to iSkyNews.com, saying the SWAT operation was related to efforts to locate additional suspects believed to be connected to Tuesday night’s incident.
The original investigation began around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday near Skyline Park at 655 South Crismon Road, where police say a fight involving multiple people left two adult men with stab or cut wounds. One victim was hospitalized in critical but stable condition, while the second suffered injuries considered non-life-threatening. Police previously confirmed that one person had been detained.
