Orlando, FL. - A fatal hit-and-run crash in Orange County has taken a significant turn as Florida Highway Patrol investigators now say multiple vehicles may be connected to the deadly incident on John Young Parkway.
According to FHP, the crash happened at approximately 4:19 a.m. Wednesday along John Young Parkway south of Oak Ridge Road in Orlando.
Investigators say an unknown sedan was traveling northbound in the center lane when it struck a male pedestrian who was walking midblock in an unknown direction. Troopers say the pedestrian was not inside a marked crosswalk and was directly in the path of the vehicle at the time of impact.
The driver did not stop.
The victim, whose identity has not yet been released pending notification and identification by the Medical Examiner’s Office, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigation Expands
In a major update, Florida Highway Patrol says investigators are now searching for three additional vehicles that may have been involved or may have critical information about the crash.
Vehicles of interest now include:
🟢 Dark gray 2024–2025 Kia K5
🟢 White Honda Civic (possible vehicle of interest)
🟢 Dark gray Kia Soul
🟢 Semi tractor-trailer
Earlier in the investigation, witnesses provided troopers with a possible suspect vehicle description and a possible image of the driver.
The primary suspect vehicle remains described as a dark gray 2024–2025 Kia K5, believed to have significant front bumper damage and damage to the undercarriage consistent with the collision.
The suspected driver is described as a dark-skinned adult male, according to investigators.
Public Asked to Help
Traffic homicide investigators are urging anyone who may have seen the crash, recognizes any of the vehicles, or has surveillance footage from the area around the time of the collision to come forward immediately.

Authorities remind drivers that leaving the scene of a fatal crash in Florida can result in serious felony charges, including prison time.
