TEEN MURDERED AT LOCAL AIRBNB

Kissimmee, FL - A 17-year-old has died following a late-night shooting at a short-term rental home in Osceola County, authorities confirmed.

According to the Osceola County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to a shooting call around 1:26 a.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at a residence in the Veranda Palms subdivision.

When deputies arrived on scene, they discovered a 17-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound lying near the pool area of the home. The teen was rushed to Osceola Regional Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Investigators identified the victim as Qvarious Savion McCloud, 17, of Orlando.

Detectives say McCloud was attending a house party at an Airbnb located off Shanti Drive in Kissimmee at the time of the shooting. Multiple people were reportedly at the residence when the incident occurred.

Authorities are now asking for the public’s help as the investigation continues. Detectives are specifically looking to speak with anyone who was at the party or who may have information about what led up to the shooting.

Investigators are also urging anyone who may have recorded video or taken photos during the gathering to come forward, as those materials could be critical to the case. Detectives believe that many of the individuals in attendance may be from Orange County.
