17-Year-Old Arrested in Overnight Car Burglary Spree Near Davenport
Davenport, FL. - A 17-year-old Davenport teen has been arrested following a string of vehicle burglaries early Monday morning, according to the Polk County Sheriff's Office.
Authorities say the incident began around 1:09 a.m. on March 16, 2026, when the agency’s aviation unit, Air6, was monitoring from above the RISE Citrus Ridge Townhomes area off Citrus Ridge Drive, north of Davenport. Deputies observed a suspicious individual on Palmer Road who appeared to be prowling.
From the air, deputies watched as the suspect approached and entered an unlocked parked vehicle. Aviation units immediately relayed the information to ground units while continuing to track the suspect’s movements.
As multiple patrol units, K9 teams, and officers from Haines City Police and Davenport Police responded to establish a perimeter, Air6 reported that the suspect fled the area on a bicycle and entered a nearby neighborhood identified as Prestwick Village.
Once there, deputies say the suspect began pulling on car door handles, attempting to burglarize additional vehicles.
Deputies quickly converged on the area and took the suspect into custody without incident. According to investigators, the teen was wearing blue latex gloves at the time of his arrest.
The suspect was identified as 17-year-old Travis Adam Frasier of Davenport. He was transported to the Juvenile Assessment Center in Bartow.

- Burglary of Conveyance (F3, 2 counts)
- Attempted Burglary of Conveyance (F3, 6 counts)
- Possession of Burglary Tools (F3)

The investigation remains ongoing.
