MESA, Ariz. — Heavy rescue crews responded Thursday to a crash involving a vehicle that reportedly slammed into a residential home near Higley and Brown roads in Mesa.
According to on-scene observations, a 4-door silver sedan appeared to have lost control before crashing into the residence, prompting a significant emergency response in the neighborhood.

Mesa Fire and Medical heavy rescue units were dispatched to the scene to assess structural damage and assist any occupants involved. Officials have not yet confirmed the exact cause of the crash, and the circumstances leading up to the collision remain under investigation.
There were possibly two reported injuries, and Arizona Crime Network observed one individual being transported from the scene for medical evaluation. The extent of injuries has not yet been released.
Salt River Project (SRP) crews were also seen on scene due to a heavy presence in the area, likely to assess any potential utility or electrical hazards related to the crash.
The condition of the home and whether anyone inside the residence was injured has not yet been confirmed.
Authorities continue to investigate the incident, and additional details are expected once officials complete their on-scene assessment.
