Eloy Fire District Brings Home Two Big Wins at Casa Grande Celebration
ELOY, AZ — What a night for the Eloy Fire District! The crew walked into Casa Grande’s annual celebration expecting a good time… and walked out with two huge awards and hearts full of gratitude.
The district was honored with the Gene Lehman Best Public Safety Award and the APS “Power to Make It Happen” Award — a double win that left everyone cheering, smiling, and maybe even a little misty-eyed.

Firefighters and staff said they were blown away by the recognition and couldn’t stop talking about how magical the evening felt. It wasn’t just about trophies — it was about community, teamwork, and feeling the love from the people they proudly serve.
The room was filled with holiday joy, warm hugs, and plenty of “Can you believe this?!” moments as the news spread. The Eloy Fire District made it clear just how much this meant to them, sending out a huge “thank you” to Casa Grande for the support, appreciation, and unforgettable memories.
