Timber Mesa Firefighter Glenn Collins to Be Escorted to and from Flagstaff on Monday

SHOW LOW, Ariz. — Tomorrow, Monday, October 6th, the Timber Mesa Fire and Medical District family will once again unite in solemn tribute as they escort one of their own. Firefighter Glenn Collins, who tragically lost his life earlier this week, will be escorted to Flagstaff and brought home later that same day.

This emotional procession honors a dedicated public servant who spent his career protecting others. Community members are encouraged to join along the route to show their love and gratitude for his service.

🚒 Departure: 9:00 a.m. from Show Low
📍 Route: 9th Street → Deuce of Clubs → Highway 77 → Interstate 40 → Butler → Nestle Purina → Industrial → Huntington → arriving at the Coconino County Medical Examiner’s Office around 12:00 p.m.

📍 Route: Industrial → Nestle Purina → Butler → I-40 → Highway 77 → Deuce of Clubs → White Mountain Road → Hall → 9th Street → Owens/Livingston Mortuary

Residents are invited to gather safely along Deuce of Clubs and White Mountain Road to pay their respects and welcome Firefighter Collins home.

As the convoy of red fire engines and ambulances makes its way through the White Mountains, it will serve as a moving reminder of the bond shared by first responders—and the strength of a community that stands together in times of heartbreak.

Timber Mesa Fire and Medical District expressed their deep appreciation for the overwhelming support from residents and neighboring agencies, stating, “We are forever grateful for the continued support, love, and strength shown by our community as we face yet another unimaginable loss together.” ❤️
