Fatal Four-Vehicle Crash Closes Narcoossee Road in Saint Cloud

Saint Cloud, FL (iSkyNews.com) — The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) has released new details following a fatal crash that occurred shortly after 12:09 p.m. Wednesday on Narcoossee Road south of Boggy Creek Road in Osceola County.

According to troopers, a 2008 Chevrolet HHR driven by an 18-year-old man from Winter Springs was traveling northbound in the outside lane when the driver attempted to change lanes, lost control, and crossed the raised median into oncoming traffic. The vehicle collided head-on with a 2018 Ford Explorer, driven by a 47-year-old woman from Winter Garden, before a 2022 Land Rover struck the rear of the Explorer.

Following the impact, the teenage driver of the Chevrolet was ejected from the vehicle. He was transported to UCF Lake Nona Hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased. FHP confirmed the driver was not wearing a seatbeltat the time of the crash.

The other two drivers, both wearing seatbelts, were taken to Osceola Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.

All lanes of Narcoossee Road were temporarily shut down during the investigation but have since reopened. Troopers say the crash remains under investigation.
