Mesa, AZ (iSkyNews.com) — At approximately 1:30 p.m., Mesa Fire and Police responded to a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of Val Vista Drive and Broadway Road. Emergency crews arrived to find all drivers and passengers out of their vehicles. Mesa Fire evaluated everyone at the scene, confirming that no one was injured.

Due to debris and vehicle positioning, westbound Broadway was restricted to one lane for an extended period. Mesa Fire cleared the scene and went back in service around 2:10 p.m., while three Mesa Police officers remained on scene conducting an investigation.

According to witnesses, one of the involved drivers appeared impaired—reportedly slurring his words and stumbling. Officers detained the individual after multiple attempts to stand, and the driver was later arrested by Mesa Police.

At approximately 2:30 p.m., All City Towing arrived on scene and began removing the vehicles and clearing the roadway.

The crash remains under investigation, and impairment is being considered as a possible factor.
