CRIME ALERT: Gym Locker Burglaries Sweep Valley, Suspects Caught on Camera
SCOTTSDALE, AZ — Scottsdale Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects linked to a string of locker-room burglaries across multiple gyms throughout the Valley.
According to authorities, the individuals—captured in surveillance footage—have been targeting fitness centers, breaking into lockers and stealing personal items, primarily wallets and credit cards. The suspects then reportedly use the stolen cards at various retail locations, racking up thousands of dollars in fraudulent purchases.
Investigators have connected over ten cases to the same two suspects, described as:
- Suspect 1: Black male, 20–30 years old, approximately 6'0", 160 lbs, with a small black goatee and long relaxed black curly hair.
- Suspect 2: Black male, 20–30 years old, approximately 5'10", 150 lbs, wearing a black face mask and black baseball cap.
The pair have also been seen driving a white Mercedes-Benz with no license plate, raising further concerns about their mobility and intent.
📸 Surveillance images released by Scottsdale PD show the suspects inside a retail store shortly after one of the reported thefts. Police believe these individuals may be operating across multiple jurisdictions and urge gym-goers to secure valuables and report suspicious behavior.
Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Scottsdale Police at 480-312-TIPS. Tips can remain anonymous.
