Fully Engulfed Kitchen Fire Erupts at Gilbert Home — No Injuries Reported

Gilbert, AZ (July 6, 2025) — Multiple agencies responded to a fully engulfed house fire Sunday evening in Gilbert, where a fast-moving blaze tore through the kitchen of a residence near E. Harrison Street.

At approximately 6:20 p.m., crews from Gilbert Fire and Rescue, Gilbert Police, Gilbert Fire Community Assistance, Salt River Project (SRP), and Southwest Gas were dispatched to 4321 E. Harrison St. following a 911 call from a nearby neighbor—who also happened to be a firefighter—reporting a “working fire” with visible flames and heavy smoke.

Upon arrival, Gilbert Fire crews observed thick, dark smoke billowing from the home and confirmed the fire had fully engulfed the kitchen area. Firefighters worked quickly to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading further through the structure.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and the residents were able to escape safely or were not present at the time of the fire.

The scene remained active for several hours as fire personnel ensured the fire was completely extinguished and a fire investigator was dispatched to determine the exact cause of the incident.
