Valleywide, AZ - The U.S. Department of Defense is currently conducting military training exercises across the Phoenix metropolitan area, with operations beginning today and continuing through Saturday, June 21st.
As part of the scheduled drills, residents may observe low-flying helicopters, simulated gunfire, and controlled explosions, particularly during nighttime hours. Officials stress that this is routine training conducted every two to three years and is not a cause for alarm.
“The Department of Defense is asking for the community’s patience and support as they complete the training,” in a public notice.
Authorities assure the public that these exercises are standard operations and express appreciation for residents' understanding during the temporary increase in activity.
