Crash Slows US 60 Westbound Near Greenfield Road in Mesa

MESA, AZ — A crash caused a heavy backup on westbound US 60 near Greenfield Road early Monday morning.
Arizona Department of Transportation reported the crash shortly before 5:45 a.m. on Aug. 31. The left and center lanes were blocked while crews worked at the scene.
Traffic cameras showed a long line of vehicles backed up along the freeway during the morning commute.
ADOT later reported that all lanes had reopened.
There was no immediate information available on injuries or how many vehicles were involved.
Drivers should continue to use caution in the area as traffic clears.
