Urgent: Mesa Police Searching for Missing 66-Year-Old Man Last Seen Leaving Hospital

MESA, Ariz. — The Mesa Police Department is asking for the public's immediate help in locating a missing 66-year-old man who was last seen Tuesday evening after leaving a hospital in Mesa.
Mesa Police reached out to iSkyNews.com to help spread the word about the disappearance of Robert Cathey, who has not been seen or heard from since approximately 8:00 p.m. on July 14, 2026.
According to investigators, Cathey was last seen leaving a hospital near the 6600 block of East Baywood Avenue. Police say his caregiver is deeply concerned for his safety due to a cognitive condition that affects his memory and causes confusion. He is also non-verbal, making it even more difficult for him to seek help if he becomes lost.
Authorities believe Cathey may still be traveling on foot somewhere in Mesa or another East Valley community.
