KISSIMMEE, Fla. — A 45-year-old Kissimmee man was killed late Friday night after his motorcycle collided with the rear of an SUV on U.S. 192 (Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway) near Vacanza Boulevard, according to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP).
The crash happened at approximately 11:30 p.m. on July 3, 2026.

According to FHP, the rider was operating a 2000 Harley-Davidson motorcycle eastbound in the inside lane of U.S. 192. Ahead of the motorcycle was a 2025 Mazda CX-50, also traveling eastbound in the same lane.
Investigators said the motorcyclist failed to observe the SUV ahead and struck the vehicle's rear right corner.
The rider was transported to HCA Florida Osceola Hospital, where he later died from his injuries. His next of kin has been notified.
The driver of the Mazda, a 46-year-old man from San Juan, Puerto Rico, and his three passengers—a 46-year-old woman, a 21-year-old woman, and a 17-year-old male, all from San Juan—were not injured. Troopers said everyone inside the SUV was wearing a seat belt.
FHP has not yet confirmed whether the motorcyclist was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol.
