Missing Apache Junction Teen Found Safe in Globe; Criminal Investigation Underway

APACHE JUNCTION, Ariz. — A 13-year-old girl who was the subject of a statewide Turquoise Alert has been found safe, according to the Apache Junction Police Department.

Authorities announced that Skyler Conville was located safely in Globe, Arizona, and has since been reunited with her family.

The search for Skyler involved an extensive multi-agency effort that included Apache Junction Police detectives, SWAT personnel, patrol officers, and law enforcement partners from several jurisdictions. Investigators worked around the clock pursuing leads, conducting interviews, and serving multiple search warrants in Apache Junction, Mesa, Globe, and Miami.

Police credited the successful outcome to the coordinated efforts of investigators and the public's assistance throughout the search.

According to the Apache Junction Police Department, the Turquoise Alert generated significant public awareness and led to numerous tips from community members. Investigators say those tips proved invaluable and played a critical role in helping locate Skyler safely.

"We would like to thank everyone who shared the Turquoise Alert, our missing person posts, and submitted tips throughout the investigation," the department said in a statement provided directly to iSkyNews.com.

While Skyler has been safely recovered, authorities emphasized that the case is far from over.

The investigation has now transitioned into an active criminal investigation. Detectives continue to pursue additional leads and execute search warrants related to the case.
