An Osceola County woman was hospitalized after being stabbed with scissors during a domestic violence incident in Kissimmee, according to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — A domestic-related stabbing investigation is underway in Osceola County after deputies responded to a violent incident early Thursday morning in a residential neighborhood.

According to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called just before 7:00 a.m. to 4803 East Lake Reserve Boulevard following reports of a domestic disturbance involving a stabbing.

Investigators say an adult woman was stabbed with a pair of scissors during the incident. Authorities say the adult male suspect then stabbed himself with a knife.

Both the victim and the suspect were transported to a local hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening.

Detectives with the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office remain actively investigating what led up to the incident.

No additional details, including the identities of those involved or whether any charges are pending, have been released at this time.
