Winter Haven Man Arrested After Allegedly Threatening Internet Model Over Online Transaction

Winter Haven, FL. - A Winter Haven man is facing felony charges after Polk County investigators say an online dispute with an internet model escalated into disturbing threats that left the victim fearing for her safety.
According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, the victim, described as a local internet model who uses the OnlyFans platform, contacted deputies after receiving alarming messages from 41-year-old Rickey Collins of Winter Haven.
Investigators say the situation began following an online transaction in which Collins allegedly exchanged a ring as payment for intimate photos.
On Saturday, May 16, Collins reportedly contacted the victim demanding the return of the ring.
According to investigators, the victim attempted to de-escalate the situation by telling Collins she would leave the ring at a designated location for pickup. However, deputies say Collins insisted that she return it to him in person.
The victim refused, which investigators say appeared to further escalate Collins’ anger.
According to the sheriff’s office, Collins then allegedly sent the victim a photo of himself holding a firearm and warned that he would arrive at her residence within minutes.
Fearing for her safety, the victim contacted law enforcement.
Deputies located Collins early Sunday morning at a bar in Winter Haven, where he was taken into custody without incident.

Collins has been charged with:
- Aggravated Stalking (Felony 3)
- Unlawful Use of a Two-Way Communication Device (Felony 3)
Authorities also discovered Collins had an active warrant out of St. Lucie County.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
