Kissimmee Police Renew Plea for Answers in 2020 Cold Case Homicide of Ricardo De Lara

Six years after the tragic death of a young Kissimmee man, investigators are once again asking the public for help in solving the case.
According to the Kissimmee Police Department, officers responded to reports of gunshots on May 16, 2020, in the area of 3434 Fox Crossing Drive. When officers arrived, they discovered Ricardo De Lara, born October 3, 1997, deceased inside the residence.

Despite the passage of time, the homicide remains unsolved.
In a renewed public appeal shared this week, Kissimmee Police stated, “Six years later, we still need answers.”
Detectives are hoping someone may remember something, no matter how small, that could help bring closure to Ricardo’s family and move the investigation forward.
