Mother Arrested After Holding Child Down While Her Kids Attacked Him at Osceola County Park
OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. (iSkyNews.com) — A disturbing incident involving multiple children at a local park has led to the arrest of a mother accused of escalating a fight and physically restraining a child so her own kids could assault him.
According to the Osceola County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded on March 16, 2026, to the Heritage Park Apartment Complex following reports of a disturbance involving several juveniles.
Investigators say the situation began as a fight between children playing at the park. After the initial altercation, one group of kids reportedly left the area and returned with their mothers, escalating the situation.
Witnesses and the 10-year-old victim told deputies that two mothers became verbally confrontational with the children. During the encounter, 41-year-old Ketsy Ann Rivera allegedly pushed her own children — ages 8 and 9 — toward the victim and instructed them to hit him.

Authorities say Rivera then grabbed the 10-year-old by his shirt, preventing him from escaping or defending himself while her children struck him.
The child suffered noticeable swelling to his left eye, according to deputies. Emergency crews responded to the scene and evaluated the victim, who was ultimately cleared of serious injuries.
The victim’s mother later arrived and requested that charges be filed.
Rivera was taken into custody and booked into the Osceola County Jail. She faces multiple charges, including:
- Child Abuse (without great bodily harm)
- False Imprisonment
- Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor
As part of the ongoing investigation, deputies have requested surveillance footage from the apartment complex. However, management has not yet released the video, stating that a subpoena is required before it can be turned over.
This incident remains under investigation. Stay tuned to iSkyNews.com for updates on this story.
