Consumer Alert – A popular bicycle helmet sold online has been recalled due to serious safety concerns, with officials warning it could fail to protect riders in a crash.
The recall involves Aisstxoer Adult Bike Helmets, specifically the pink, size large model (GH018L), which were sold on Amazon.com between October 2025 and November 2025 for approximately $25.
According to the recall notice issued on March 19, 2026, the helmets do not meet mandatory federal safety standardsfor bicycle helmets. Officials say the products fail to comply with critical requirements including:
- Impact protection (impact attenuation)
- Positional stability (fit and retention)
- Proper certification standards
Because of these failures, the helmets may not adequately protect the user during a crash, posing a serious risk of head injury or even death.
Approximately 200 units are affected by the recall.
⚠️ What Consumers Should Do:
- Stop using the helmet immediately
- Contact the seller, YXTDZ Store, for a full refund
- Consumers will be asked to cut the straps to destroy the helmet
- Email proof of destruction to: yxtdzamz@126.com
The recalled helmets can be identified by:
- Pink outer shell
- Black padding, straps, and buckle
- Black adjustment knob on the back
- Model number “GH018L” printed inside
- “Aisstxoer” branding on packaging
The helmets were sold by Shenzhenshiyongxintaidianziyouxiangongsi (Shenzhen Yongxintai Electronics Co., Ltd.), operating as YXTDZ Store, and were manufactured in China.
At this time, no injuries have been reported, but officials stress that the risk remains significant due to the helmet’s inability to meet safety standards.
Consumers are encouraged to check their gear carefully and ensure any protective equipment meets certified safety requirements before use.
