Motorcyclist and Passenger Killed in Crash at Hillsborough County Intersection

RIVERVIEW, Fla. — A tragic crash in Hillsborough County claimed the lives of two people Monday evening after a collision between a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle at a busy intersection.

According to authorities, the crash occurred on March 23, 2026, at approximately 5:38 p.m. at the intersection of Windermere Oak Lane and Causeway Boulevard.

Investigators say a Toyota Avalon, driven by a 40-year-old Riverview woman, was traveling northbound on Windermere Oak Lane. At the same time, a Kawasaki motorcycle, operated by a 31-year-old Riverview man, was heading eastbound on Causeway Boulevard.

At the intersection, the driver of the Toyota turned left into the path of the oncoming motorcycle, resulting in a violent collision.

The motorcyclist and his passenger, a 33-year-old woman from Brandon, both suffered fatal injuries at the scene, officials confirmed.

The driver of the Toyota was not injured in the crash.

Authorities have not released the identities of the victims at this time, pending notification of next of kin. The crash remains under investigation.
