Security Guard Arrested on Child Abuse Charges at Kissimmee Youth Academy
KISSIMMEE, FL — A security guard at a Kissimmee youth facility has been arrested following an investigation into a violent incident involving a juvenile resident.
According to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to 2330 New Beginnings Road on January 21, 2026, after a physical altercation occurred between a 15-year-old juvenile and a security guard at the Kissimmee Youth Academy.

Investigators say the juvenile sustained a head injury during the incident and was transported to a local hospital, where he received stitches.
Following interviews with multiple witnesses and those involved, detectives identified Charles-Edouard Jeune, born October 29, 1993, as the suspect in the case. On January 26, 2026, Jeune voluntarily went to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, where he was arrested without incident.
Jeune is facing three felony charges, including:
- Child Abuse
- Aggravated Child Abuse
- Battery on a Prisoner with Great Bodily Harm
The investigation remains ongoing, and no additional details have been released at this time.
