Scottsdale Detectives Arrest Duo After Bizarre Burglary and On-Camera Intimate Encounter at Mon Cheri Restaurant
Scottsdale, AZ — Scottsdale Police detectives have arrested two suspects connected to the burglary of Mon Cheri Restaurant in Old Town Scottsdale, an incident that occurred in the early morning hours of October 25, 2025. Detectives shared the case details with iSkyNews.com on Friday.
According to investigators, 30-year-old Corrisa K. Sucanick and 39-year-old Brian H. Morrow were identified as the individuals who broke into the restaurant, stole money from cash registers, and then engaged in alleged amorous activities while still inside the business — moments captured on the restaurant’s surveillance cameras.
Detectives used a combination of internal video footage and community tips to identify both suspects. After confirming their identities, the next challenge was locating them.
Corrisa was found and arrested on November 3 near 7500 E. 2nd Street in Scottsdale. Brian was located the following day, November 4, at a Motel 6 near 23rd Avenue and Bell Road in Phoenix. Police say both were taken into custody without incident.
Both suspects were later booked into the Maricopa County Jail:
- Corrisa K. Sucanick — booked on one count of 3rd-degree burglary
- Brian H. Morrow — booked on 3rd-degree burglary and possession of burglary tools
Although their intimate behavior was caught clearly on video, detectives clarified that the “amorous activities” did not meet the criteria for criminal charges, and therefore neither suspect will face charges related to that portion of the incident.
