Police Storm Queen Creek High School After Report of Gunshots
Queen Creek, AZ — What began as a frightening report of gunfire at Queen Creek High School on Friday morning ended with relief, after police swept the campus and found no evidence of any shots fired or active threat.
The chaos started around 9:20 a.m. on November 21, 2025, when a student called police claiming they heard gunshots on campus. Within minutes, Queen Creek Police officers flooded the school, moving swiftly through hallways and classrooms in a high-intensity, room-to-room search, treating the situation as a potential active shooter.
Students and staff sheltered in place as the school was placed on lockdown, and parents began flooding social media with concern. Police urgently issued a message to families: Do not come to the campus while officers worked to secure the grounds.
As the search continued, officers found no victims, no shell casings, and no signs of gunfire. By late morning, the scene shifted from fear to relief.
QCPD confirmed the campus had been fully cleared. There were no reported injuries, no danger to students or staff, and no credible evidence indicating any shots were fired.
According to Queen Creek Unified School District, the lockdown has now been lifted, and parents who wish to pick up their children may do so through normal sign-out procedures.
Police say the investigation is still ongoing as they work to determine what the student may have heard. For now, officials emphasize that there is no known threat to the school or the community.
QCPD urges parents to continue relying only on verified updates as more information becomes available.
