The woman who was shot and killed in this case has been identified. She is Latoysia Denisha Davis (DOB 03/12/1991). We have no further information to release.

Orange County Detectives Investigating Early Morning Homicide
Orange County, FL (August 9, 2025) — A quiet Saturday morning turned into a crime scene in Orange County after deputies discovered a woman dead from what investigators say was a violent attack.
According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called just after 2:00 a.m. to the 700 block of 20th Street for a report of an aggravated battery. When they arrived, they found a woman in her 30s with obvious signs of trauma. Sadly, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives have confirmed they are investigating her death as a homicide. The woman’s name has not yet been released, and no details about a possible suspect have been shared. Investigators say they don’t expect to release more information until after the weekend as they work to piece together what happened.
