Scottsdale Police Identify Two Victims in Deadly Shooting Near 115th Street and E Sahuaro Drive

Scottsdale, AZ (July 2, 2025) — Scottsdale Police have released the identities of two young adults killed in a tragic shooting that occurred late Sunday night, June 30, 2025.

At approximately 9:50 p.m., officers were dispatched to the area of 115th Street and East Sahuaro Drive following multiple 911 calls reporting gunfire. When officers arrived on scene, they discovered a vehicle that had crashed into a ditch. Inside the vehicle were two individuals suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

20-year-old Ramon Moraga was pronounced dead at the scene. 21-year-old Nadia Mysliwiec was transported to a local hospital, where she sadly succumbed to her injuries.

Authorities confirmed that the gunshot wounds were not self-inflicted, and the case is being investigated as a double homicide. Detectives say the investigation is still in its early stages, but they believe this was an isolated incident with no ongoing threat to the community.
