Lake Mary Woman Killed in High-Speed Crash on SR 429 Ramp

Lake County, FL (July 20, 2025) — A 24-year-old woman from Lake Mary was tragically killed early Saturday morning after crashing her car on the entrance ramp to State Road 429 from State Road 453, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers say the woman was driving a 2018 Honda Accord when she entered the northbound ramp at a high speed. She was unable to make the curve, causing the car to run off the road and slam into a concrete overpass support.

She was pronounced dead at the scene. FHP confirmed she was wearing a seatbelt, and her family has been notified.

The crash remains under investigation.
