Eloy, AZ — First responders from the Eloy Fire District were stretched thin Thursday night after a string of emergency incidents—including two vehicle fires and a double fatal crash—unfolded in rapid succession across Pinal County.

- Train Fire: The night began with a fire aboard a train locomotive near Highway 87 and Cornman Road. Eloy A-Shift crews quickly extinguished the blaze.
- Vehicle Fire: Immediately after, they were dispatched to a second fire near Sunshine Boulevard and Interstate 10, where another vehicle ignited.
- Double Fatal Collision: Multiple Eloy crews then responded to a deadly crash near Interstate 10 MP214. Two individuals were confirmed deceased.
- Final Call: The night concluded with a non-fatal vehicle accident near Toltec Road and I-10, where two patients were assessed for minor injuries.
