MESA, AZ – Drivers are being urged to avoid the area of McKellips Road and the Loop 202 Red Mountain Freeway (Eastside) in Mesa due to a serious vehicle versus motorcycle accident that occurred moments ago.

The collision happened at approximately 9:45 a.m. this morning, Sunday, June 1, 2025.

According to initial reports from Mesa Fire and Medical Department, a motorcycle rider is down and has sustained injuries. Emergency crews, including Mesa Police and Fire units, are currently on scene, and significant traffic disruptions are expected.
