Just Happened: Early Morning House Fire in Apache Junction Sends One to Hospital

Broadway & Ironwood - Apache Junction, AZ | June 21, 2025

At 4:11 a.m., Superstition Fire & Medical District crews were dispatched to a working house fire near Broadway and Ironwood in Apache Junction following urgent reports of a person trapped inside.

Upon arrival, firefighters launched an aggressive fire attack and immediate primary search. Their swift action led to the discovery of a male patient toward the rear of the home. He was rapidly extricated from the burning structure and rushed to a nearby hospital, where he is currently listed in critical condition.

Thankfully, no firefighter injuries were reported during the operation.

The cause of the blaze is under active investigation.
