Phoenix, AZ — A routine traffic stop by Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) Highway Patrol Troopers led to the arrest of a man wanted for a felony parole violation.

According to DPS officials, the driver was initially pulled over for a vehicle registration violation. During the stop, the man attempted to deceive troopers by providing a false name. However, through further investigation, troopers were able to correctly identify him and discovered he was wanted by the Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (DOCRR) for a felony parole violation.

The individual was immediately taken into custody.

This arrest highlights the importance of vigilant enforcement and attention to detail during traffic stops. Arizona DPS continues to emphasize its mission of "Courteous Vigilance" in keeping the roads and communities safe.
